About Us

Located in Hickory, Pennsylvania, Hickory Tavern Farm is a 200 acre family farm with a serious approach to breeding the highest quality Barbet for the show ring, performance arena, and the home. Our dogs excel in competition, are easy to travel with, and are health tested. As one of America's foundation supporters of the Barbet, it is our pleasure to help this breed gain recognition in the United States.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in our dogs. Please note that we do not maintain a waiting list and are not breeding frequently. If you're specifically interested in a puppy from Hickory Tavern, feel free to begin a dialogue through an introductory email.

Our goal has always been to breed healthy, top quality show dogs who live in wonderful homes. Very occasionally, pet puppies are available to select homes.
