Isabel's latest video is an arrangement of Disney's Frozen that she arranged, recorded, and edited. She did this entire video herself over her Thanksgiving school break. The progression of her skills with every video is fun to watch!

Bosch Wins Best of the Best

Bosch and Francois winning Best of the Best in Brampton, Ontario

"At the Maple Leaf Kennel Club (UKC) event Bosch and I ended up in Rally with two first places and one second place with an average of 97% in Rally Obedience 3 (Excellent). In conformation, one third place, three second places and one first place.Three Top Dog Award. One Best in Show and one Best of the Best in Show." -- Francois Menard

Congratulations to Francois and Bosch for their wonderful weekend! Bosch is the father of Solene's April litter: Micah, Clovis, Charlie, Maggie, Libby, Marlee, Ernie, Clea and Teddy. This litter has excellent uniformity, temperament, size, and bone. We are very happy with our Bosch pups!

In addition to his nice performance in Rally, Bosch won Best of the Best, which is a UKC competition between all dogs who won Best In Show over the weekend. Fantastic!

Alabanza, Captain

This has been a rough summer for us, culminating in the death of my father earlier this week. My parents gave me a great life, providing me with a beautiful home, horses and dogs to treasure, and a lifetime of wonderful memories of our travels together, our life on the farm, and the tremendous impact that they have had on my children. Everybody knew my father. His connections traveled far through the country, and often when I meet a person, it seem that they had worked for my dad, or knew of his antique toy collection, or had met him at a historical construction equipment show, delivered a tractor to the farm, or sold him a piece of equipment. I never heard a negative word about him. He was interested in people, and he enjoyed his many friends, old and new. I wish everyone could be as lucky as I have been to live in this family.

I have not been good at keeping up with correspondence throughout his illness and if I missed responding to your inquiry, I am sorry. In fact, most people did not even know that he was sick. At this point, I am feeling drained, and have decided not to breed Claire this fall.

California Barbet Girl

Silly Annique is now 9 months old and having quite the time in Santa Barbara, CA. She enjoys her time playing outside, and especially loves the plumbago bush in her yard! Annique is from our Claire-Obie litter and she looks so much like Claire!

Micah -- Mr Blue -- Barbet Puppy in Vermont

Micah, our beautiful blue collared male, is now living in Vermont with Leslie and Jeff, co-owned with Lynn, and he will be shown in the AKC, CKC, and UKC when he is old enough. He is such a sweet pup who was a joy to travel with when we went to Michigan two weeks ago. He handled the dog show site so well, then went off with Leslie to start his new life. I am so happy to know that I'll meet up with them at shows and see his progress. For now he is enjoying his summer days with Les, Jeff, and Brigie.

Miss Madison

I stopped by to visit with Madison, a 9 month old puppy from our last litter (Hickory Tavern Dior On Madison, Claire x Obie). She is a wild and silly girl who is really growing nicely. Next month she'll be going to the Premier dog shows with us in Kalamazoo, MI. It will be fun to show our puppy!
